[GUIDE] Hero's Strategy by Chronocommander

Jul 26,2014

Greeting young knight!

I will be talking about the;hero;Pandora: 'A goddess who is seeking to find her true love in realm of mortals.';

Pandora is the first legendary divine hero that you can recruit AND looks good in every party. So, she has good looks, is a divine hero, which gives her the ability to learn arcane spore (So you don't have to worry to break her!). AND she learn blood pact! Who doesn't like a supportive-self-ressurrecting-tank hero? If I just gave you a decent reason to get Pandora, feel free to read on. If not, I tell you again: 'Supportive- Self-Resurrecting- Tanky hero'. She's a master of all trades.;

_____________________________________________________________________________

Now, let us talk on how you can obtain that hero, shall we?

If you are a new player, I would recommend to continue reading untill the next ;________________________________, this will tell you how to open the barmaid, how to get the points, ... . If you are an experienced player who knows how to recruit heroes, open the tavern, ... feel free to skip this part.

So, I suppose you made it towards the city of 'Eastcrest' because you are looking at hero guides, and, new heroes are unlocked once you reach Eastcrest. If you didn't, just follow the main quest storyline, this will get you to Eastcrest in like 20-30 minutes. Just follow the main quest's and continue reading once you reach the new city.

......... Hurry up, I ain't here all day! Just kidding, I am here all day D:

So, you just made it to the city of Eastcrest:

Now, there are 2 NPC's in this city. You will be talking to 'Barmaid-Jessy' and click 'Recruit Heroes'. If it's your first time here you will get an explanation on how to get heroes here, how to get essence, ... .

If you skipped it, I'll give you a VERY brief explanation on how to get the points etc.

Notes, Exchange rates is 8/1 from blue to epics.;

8/1 from epic dust to legendary dust. So to get just 1 legendary dust you will need to get 64 (!) epic dust's.

Now, let's take a look at the Rare tavern. This is where we will find our goddess.

____________________________________________________________________

So, now we are in the Rare Tavern. Click the Pandora portrait and the personal information should pop up:

Let's take a closer look at the personal information:

1. Name of the hero: In this case Pandora. Not alot to say about this.

2. Hero Class: In knight's Fable there are 4 hero classes:

- Iron: Strong basic defenses

- Divine: High maximum health

- Spirit: High Magical attack

- Blood: High Physical attack

3. Hero BR: However it is bugged at the moment (Showing initial BR), the initial BR from pandora is 1670-1690 at level 1.

4. Hero Rating: Gives the hero a rating from 0-6 (6 being the maximum at this point in the game, I suppose once mythical tavern is released that it will increase to up to 10)

5. Special Skill: Each hero has a unique skill, this one can either be passive or active. Pandora has an active skill, named Fallen Blow. The information of that skill is next to the icon.

6. Active Skill: Well, in the previous hero recruitment feature you would get 1 random hero skill if you recruited a hero. The reign of iron heroes with arcane spores is over. Now every hero has a set skill that you can change after the recruitment. The active skill has a % change to get activated each turn.

7. Level Req: Gives you the required level before you can recruit her. I don't know the required level to recruit her. It should be around level 32 tho.

8. Recruitment cost: Shows you how much reputation/dust you will need to spend to buy the hero. In this case it's 3000 Epic reputation. So, that's 3000*8= 24.000 blue reputation.;

_______________________________________________________________________________

Now, Let's take a look at the hero skills:

This is probally the best setup for a Pandora.

Arcane Spore is your self resurrection skill, so that is probally the best skill there is in the entire game. ->; Hero's can't kill your hero in one turn. So a main character has to attack your hero in order to kill it.

Blood Pact is what makes your Pandora a supportive hero, it heals your ENTIRE party for a decent amount.

Blood essence gives your divine pandora even more health. Because she is a tank, she never can have enough health.

Brutal Shout increases your defense capabilities by a decent amount. Combine it with Blood Essence to make a hero tankier then it should be.

Phantom Form is probally the one of the least used defensive tomes. But I think it's worth it more then the END increase tome. With a simple reason, there are almost 0 players who BOTH focus on HIT and CRIT. ;If they did focus on HIT yes, then this is worthless, but you won't get crit a lot anyway, because they didn't focus on crit. If they focussed on CRIT, they have really low HIT. Because of this you can dodge the lethal skills without to much problem.

______________________________________________________________________________________

Additional tips and tricks for Pandora:

Pandora is a great hero, but, there are other heroes that do the same jobs, but better. For instance Great Lancer, Conflicted Werewolf AND Good Templar.

Redemption might seem like a great skill, but it isn't. The base damage it returns is REALLY low. (2260 at level 11)

Always run a HP nostrum on divine heroes. And EITHER a Physical defense one or a Magical defense one.

Since Pandora does NOT have a taunt skill, ALWAYS run her in the front row, even better to place her in the top of the front row.

NEVER FORGET! Pandora is a tank. She is SUPPOSED TO TAKE HITS.

Pandora is great for EACH class.

______________________________________________________________________________________

Now, let's talk about Chet: 'a mysterious astrologer said to have been by a hell fiend'

Note. Chet is not a female, so I don't really feel like writing a guide for him D:. Yet, I will write a guide just for you ^_^.

Chet is a spirit hero, even though he looks like a divine hero..., because of this he has low defensive capabilities AND huge attacking capabilities. Chet is your everyday glass cannon hero. because of this, you WILL have to place him in the back row of the party.

In this guide I will tell you how to make him an even stronger glass cannon hero without having him die on the first turn.

______________________________________________________________________________________

Now, let's take a look at the personal information of Chet:

1. Name of the hero: Chet, nothing to say about this.

2. Hero Class: In knight's Fable there are 4 hero classes:

- Iron: Strong basic defenses

- Divine: High maximum health

- Spirit: High Magical attack

- Blood: High Physical attack

3. Hero BR: However it is bugged at the moment (Showing initial BR), the initial BR from Chet is 2200 at level 1.

4. Hero Rating: Gives the hero a rating from 0-6 (6 being the maximum at this point in the game, I suppose once mythical tavern is released that it will increase to up to 10)

5. Special SkillEach hero has a unique skill, this one can either be passive or active. Chet's skill is called Starlight.

6. Active Skill: Well, in the previous hero recruitment feature you would get 1 random hero skill if you recruited a hero. The reign of iron heroes with arcane spores is over. Now every hero has a set skill that you can change after the recruitment. The active skill has a % change to get activated each turn. But now, Chet always has a Wrath of the Ice God skill.

7. Level Req: Shows you the required level before you can get the hero.

8. Recruitment cost: Shows you how much reputation/dust you will need to spend to buy the hero.

Since Spirit heroes have the highest magic attack, we will use this to make our glass cannon hero hit everyone hard, for this we will need:

- Ice gods wrath: Strongest AoE ingame for spirit heroes. This spell is so strong that it takes a % of your life force away.

- Sirens Song: Another area of effect skill, however it's weaker then Ice Gods Wrath, still does a hellalot of damage. Combine it with the other active skills and you get a 70% (!) chance to do an Area of effect skill in that round.

- Arcane Rage: Increases your damage even further by amplifying your critical hit rate. You already had huge base damage on Area of Effect spells, why not increase it even further ^_^?

- Blood Essence: Even tho he is a hard hitting hero, he will need some health. Because of this we will put a blood essence hero tome in the hero. Just making sure that your precious damage dealer isn't going to be instantly killed by a mage.

- Meditation: Increases your big base magic attack even further.

________________________________________________________________________________

Additional Tips And Tricks for Chet:

Chet is a spirit hero, because of this he has LOW defense values. NEVER place a spirit hero in the front row. ALWAYS place him on the back.

Chet is a strong hero, yet he does NOT fit in each composition. For instance, Knight's and Spiritus are great with a spirit hero, because they can take the enemy for some time, yet, a magi or a fighter can NOT afford to take damage early in the fight.

ALWAYS switch Chet for Merlin if you get the ability to recruit Merlin. Merlin is ALOT stronger!

If you have the ability, run a magical attack nostrum on him

_______________________________________________________________________________

Next up we will be talking about Tiffany, Yup, another woman! Great isn't it? ^_^.

Tiffany: 'One of the strongest guardians of the elves'.

Tiffany is a spirit hero, just like Chet, because of they have the exact same skills to learn, ... . The only difference is their unique hero skill.

Tiffany is a spirit hero, because of this she has low defensive capabilities AND huge attacking capabilities. Tiffany is your everyday glass cannon hero. because of this, you WILL have to place her in the back row of the party. however, since her unique skill is actually quite helpfull, we will learn her to be a little bit more defensive.

_________________________________________________________________________________

1. Name of the heroTiffany , nothing to say about this.

2. Hero Class: In knight's Fable there are 4 hero classes:

- Iron: Strong basic defenses

- Divine: High maximum health

- Spirit: High Magical attack

- Blood: High Physical attack

3. Hero BR: However it is bugged at the moment (Showing initial BR), the initial BR from Tiffany is 2200 at level 1.

4. Hero Rating: Gives the hero a rating from 0-6 (6 being the maximum at this point in the game, I suppose once mythical tavern is released that it will increase to up to 10)

5. Special SkillEach hero has a unique skill, this one can either be passive or active.

6. Active Skill: Well, in the previous hero recruitment feature you would get 1 random hero skill if you recruited a hero. The reign of iron heroes with arcane spores is over. Now every hero has a set skill that you can change after the recruitment. The active skill has a % change to get activated each turn.

7. Level Req: Shows you the required level before you can get the hero.

8. Recruitment cost: Shows you how much reputation/dust you will need to spend to buy the hero.

________________________________________________________________________________

Let's take a look at hero skills:

As I said earlier, we are building Tiffany a little bit tankier then the other spirit heroes. Because of this we will NOT run Meditation, but run Brutal Shout.

Ice gods wrathStrongest AoE ingame for spirit heroes. This spell is so strong that it takes a % of your life force away.

Sirens Song: Another area of effect skill, however it's weaker then Ice Gods Wrath, still does a hellalot of damage. Combine it with the other active skills and you get a 70% (!) chance to do an Area of effect skill in that round.

Arcane RageIncreases your damage even further by amplifying your critical hit rate. You already had huge base damage on Area of Effect spells, why not increase it even further ^_^?

Blood Essence: Even tho she's said to be a spirit hero, I said that we are building her more tanky, to do this we will need to add health on her. For those wondering WHY would I build her tanky instead of damage? Take a look at her unique skill: Reduced dodge of ALL enemies. Because you will reduce the dodge more often if you can keep her longer in a fight. If you reduce enemy dodge, you can focus on CRIT instead of HIT. which increases your overall damage.

MeditationIncreases your rather low basic defenses a bit to make give some survivability.

____________________________________________________________________________

Additional Tips And Tricks for Tiffany:

- Spirit heroes are WEAK in defensive abilities. NEVER place them in the front row!

- AoE is the way to go for spirit heroes.

- Use a Magical Attack nostrum to increase damage.

- Spirit heroes do NOT fit in each composition.

______________________________________________________________________________

Next up: Another elf.

Verus: 'One of the best archers ever to live in this world'

Verus is a blood hero, because he is a blood hero, we will focus on the physical attack skills. And make him a GREAT assasin type hero. Our Elf archer will become one of the strongest damage dealers!

___________________________________________________________________________

Now, we take an other look at the recruitment screen

1. Name of the heroVerus, nothing to say about this.

2. Hero Class: In knight's Fable there are 4 hero classes:

- Iron: Strong basic defenses

- Divine: High maximum health

- Spirit: High Magical attack

- Blood: High Physical attack

3. Hero BR: However it is bugged at the moment (Showing initial BR), the initial BR from Verus is 2200 at level 1.

_________________________________________________________________________________

This might seem like a strange build, and yes, it is a strange build, but I will tell you the logics behind every choice:

- Soul Fire: Deals great damage against world boss, AND main character's. 20% might not seem like much, BUT, a high health player will take 20.000 damage from this skill, whilst others would only hit 5.000 against him.

- Blood Lash: It deals the highest base damage on only Physical Attack, the side effect might seem rather bad, but it will still deal more damage then other skills.

- Arcane Rage: your blood hero will always need arcane rage, because of the ability to do more crits, more crits equals more damage.

- Star Grudge: Increases basic physical damage. Since all of your skills and attacks are based on your physical attack, we need to increase it!

- Blood Essence: Well, even if we are assassins, we NEED health. That's why we take Blood essence.
_________________________________________________________________________

Tips and tricks for using Verus:

- Physical attack nostrums are THE way to go

- Place him in the back row

- Blood heroes aren't great in 1v1's.

__________________________________________________________________________

We got there! Final hero!

Glazer: 'Anyone watching her eyes will become stone, be very wary.'

Glazer is a blood hero, because she is a blood hero, she is better at phyisical attacks then at magical attacks. We will use this information when we build her with skills.

__________________________________________________________________________

I suppose you get the drill already

1. Name of the heroGlazer , nothing to say about this.

2. Hero Class: In knight's Fable there are 4 hero classes:

- Iron: Strong basic defenses

- Divine: High maximum health

- Spirit: High Magical attack

- Blood: High Physical attack

3. Hero BR: However it is bugged at the moment (Showing initial BR), the initial BR from Glazer is 1400 at level 1.

______________________________________________________________________________

Now , how to build Glazer?

Glazer is as said earlier a blood hero. Blood heroes excell in physical attacks we will base our build on this.

- Demonic Cut: Increases in damage the lower the health of the enemy

- Soul Fire: Increases damage the HIGHER the enemy health is. Skill does 20% damage of max health. So, this makes it great to use on tanks.

Arcane Rage: your blood hero will always need arcane rage, because of the ability to do more crits, more crits equals more damage.

Star GrudgeIncreases basic physical damage. Since all of your skills and attacks are based on your physical attack, we need to increase it!

Blood Essence: we NEED health. That's why we take Blood essence.
