Armed and ready to kill! Cross server arena!

Greetings,

Valiant knight, Sneaky rouge, Young mage or beautifull Lady. I, Chronocommander,; will teach you the ways of a true glorious fighter. But before I can do so, I will need to explain you the basics of the cross server arena. With as a goal to get to the highest rank on the leaderboard!

As you can see, I do know how to win Cross server arena rounds. Just to delete the doubt that you could've had.

Let's get started with the basics, okay?;

The cross server arena is availible to EVERY player which has reached the glorious level 30! BUT, the cross server arena (CSA shortly, I might use this later in the guide) only opens at certain times. From 10.00-14.00 server time AND 18.00-24.00 Server time. Only during those times you can join the arena, with a maximum of 3 attempts a day. For those who are wondering, it's to make sure you don't need to wait a few hours before you can find a battle. For those who don't know how late the server time is, you can keep your mouse hovered over the clock in the top right corner (Next to training room);

Hovering over that clock will show you the current server time. The more you know ^_^!

But now, let's click the Cross server arena icon and take a look at the information:

By looking at this, we can see that the 2 first points state what we already saw in this guide: Required level and times to join.

Well, the 3rd point is something new: 'The matchmaking system will match you with people of similliar skill'. With this it mean that the rating you have (Increases/decreases depending on a win/loss) will get you teamed up against people of the same rating. Because of this higher levels (Will often have a higher rating and thus) will have to fight higher levels and can't continue stomping lower levels. You initially start with a rating of 1.200.

Up to the next point: 'Points are earned by killing an enemy, assisting in killing an enemy, and by transporting ore'. Yup, the cross server arena works with points. Each time you do one of those 3 things (Kill/assist/transport ore) you get points.;

"How much points do I get for one of these?"

- Killing an enemy will grant you a 200 points.

- Assisting in an enemy kill will grant you 100 points.

- Transporting ores will grant you a whopping 500 points!

So, you might think now, transporting will give me the most points, I will ONLY do transports at higher level! Well, here you are wrong.;

This because you can get killed in it ALL the time. And as I will explain later in the guide, it's best to have 2 defenders, 2 escort defenders and the other 6 are errand runners (Transporting cargo).;

The highest levels should ALWAYS defend, this because they can take the most damage because they are stronger, thus killing more players. Recommend BR: 200.000+ BR

2 other strong players should defend the ore transporters. Those players will need to attack the defenders, to wipe them, so the lower levels can run in the spawn, take ores to score alot of points in a short time. Recommended BR escort defenders: 200.000 BR+;

The other 6 lower leveled players are sacrificial lambs, they are the ore transporters. They have to wait for the ore protecters to wipe the defenders. Because of this they can get ores safely, once they have the ores they have to bring them to the ore master at their spawn. They have perhaps THE most important job in the arena. They are the ones who can make a team win and make one lose.

Note. Defenders will ALWAYS gain the most glory. This because 6 to even 8 players (1.200 to 1.600 points) are divided between 2, so that is 600 points in the same time as the ore transporters get, defenders even get 100 more points.

Let's move on to the next chapter. 'Players will gain glory and rating according to..'

This is false, People don't gain more glory based on their levels, it's all based on the amount of points that you gained during that fight. Take a look at the following screenshot:

As you can see, the higher the points, the more glory points you can get! Another reason to make sure do your best and get to the top of the board! I will be one of the first to welcome you at the top!

I am not sure, but I think once you reach a certain amount of points in a round (4.000+) You get 1 glory point PER 130 points you get. (This is for the winning team).

Glory that you gain during a fight can be spend in the glory shop. We will take a look at that later.

The next 2 points we already spoke about. So just scroll up in the guide to find it!;

Now for the last point, you have 5 daily cross server arena runs. with a cooldown of 40 minutes between them (The cooldown starts once the match starts). You can NOT enter the cross server arena be using stamina, it's 5 daily runs, FOR EVERYONE.

Now, let us take a look at the bottom of this window:

Straight forward here. Only misleading thing is that points is your rating.

Glory shows TOTAL glory you have at that moment.

Today's Attempts shows how many runs you have done already.

Glory Shop opens the store where you can spend glory. Note. I will NOT tell you how to spend your glory, that is all up to you!

(Look back to the top of the page if you can't remember some of the content);

Now for the real strategy guide, you know everything that you need to know now.

Click the 'Begin Match' to be placed in the matchmaking system. After some time in the matchmaking system you will get a notification. This will place you in the appropriate team.

The cross server arena consist's of 2 teams. Those 2 teams will clash against each other in their fight to win the battle!

Blue team and the Red team.;

The Red team will spawn;on the bottom left of the map, with their ore master at the top left above their spawn place. They have their ores on the left on the spawn, this is where the defenders have to defend.

Screenshot of red spawn, has best spot for defenders to stand.

The Blue team will spawn at the top right corner of the map, With their ore master being below them. Their ores that they have to defend are on the right of the spawn

Blue spawn area (Sorry for the massacre, I can't join blue, bugged D:. Because of that I had to fight my way in). Idem with red team, has optimized locations for defenders.

The reason why defenders should stand there is because you have an extra attempt to stop them if you are fast enough. If you would stand at your ore you will only be able to take 1 player down and you will have to start chasing then. If you stand over there you get 1 player WITHOUT cargo to kill, and 1 player that is delivering the ores.

I am repeating what I already said in the guide, if you read the complete guide, feel free to skip this part ^_^:

It's best to have;2 defenders, 2 escort defenders and the other 6 members are errand runners (Transporting cargo).;

The;highest levels should ALWAYS defend, this because they can take the most damage because they are stronger, thus killing more players.;Recommend BR: 200.000+ BR

2 other strong players should;defend the ore transporters.;Those players will need to attack the defenders, to wipe them, so the lower levels can run in the spawn, take ores to score alot of points in a short time.;Recommended BR escort defenders: 180.000 BR+ (Ability to kill defenders when they are hurt)

The other 6 lower leveled players are sacrificial lambs, they are the;ore transporters. They have to wait for the ore protecters to wipe the defenders. Because of this they can get ores safely, once they have the ores they have to bring them to the;ore master at their spawn. They have perhaps;THE most important job in the arena. They are the ones who can make a team win and make one lose.

Note. If you kill all attackers, feel free to go and do an escort run, it's pointless to wait 40 seconds for all of them to respawn!

Note: Defenders will ALWAYS gain the most glory. This because 6 to even 8 players (1.200 to 1.600 points) are divided between 2, so that is 600 points in the same time as the ore transporters get, defenders even get 100 more points. If you have the strength to defend the ores ->; DEFEND them!

Each ore you deliver is worth 20 points. The team that has most kills in a minute get's +12 points. The team that had least kills gets +8 points. As said before, you need to hit the 1.000 points mark OR the time has to run out.

Some tips that you will like in CSA:

- Do NOT hug walls -> Attack range goes over wall.

Think before you move. Do not hug the walls, since the attack range goes over the wall.

- Know your attack range:

For fighters: The attack range is a little bit over your weapon's length:

For other classes you will need to look for it yourself.

- Invisible teammates fix

If you have invisible teammates (You should look at it during the countdown) you have to refresh your page ASAP. USE the countdown to refresh your page. The invisible teammates bug happens when you turn 'Hide players' on in the city of spirits.
