[GUIDE] Forging the Dream Gears by Yoshikou

Sep 25,2014

Hey everyone, and welcome to my gear forging strategy. I know that currently, no one has created a forged gear yet. However, in this strategy I hope to give you a brief estimate at how much forging a piece would cost, and how you would find the pieces you need. Without further ado, let's get on with the guide.

I. What exactly is "Gear Forging?"

Have you ever wanted another piece of equipment that nobody else has? Or did you ever wish that you could "enhance" your original equipment? Thanks to Gear Forging, that is now possible. Well to be frank, Gear Forging is taking an existing piece of equipment, and enhancing it. ONLY EQUIPMENT WITH CERTAIN BR CAN BE FORGED.

Weapons- 12k BR

Chest/Pants - 10k BR

Boots/Helmet- ~6k BR (Approximate, my Helm is at 6k and I can forge.)

Ring/Necklace/Talisman ~ 8k BR (Not sure)

Take my weapon for example:

If I were to "enhance" or "forge" my weapon, it would turn into

Notice that the stats increased exponentially. With the addition of a gem slot and another bonus stats, glyphs also go up to 220 and the weapon's raw ATK is increased dramatically as well. Allow me to recap, "Gear Forging" means taking an EXISTING PIECE of Equipment and ENHANCING its stats and properties.

II. Material Farming

Okay, let me first say that each individual equipment takes different materials to make. Materials can be obtained from Hell Portal, Alliance Wars(Franchise Shop) and Team Dungeons (Newest Addition).

Let's look at the materials obtainable from all three functions.

These items could be PURCHASED from the Franchise Shop, or bought from the Magic Crystal shop for 500 MC each. You can also find them in the Team Dungeon as a random drop from being in the top 3 in terms of % damage dealt. These materials are known as "Common Materials for Gear" for each different class.

HOLY IRONS are obtainable from doing any of the three functions, and they are required to forge any piece of equipment, making it a valuable material. You will also receive a set amount of Holy Irons from participating in the Alliance War. Holy Irons are known as "Gear Materials"

SCHEMAS (a required material for ANY forged equipment) can be bought with SILVER at the Franchise Shop, bought with MC at the MC SHOP, or will be given when Alliance War has been completed, of which you must have participated.

Now let's look at materials only obtainable from the Hell Portal.

These items can ONLY be bought from the Magic Crystal shop in Hell Portal. You need about 10 of each shard to make a core material, making it about 4000 Magic Crystal to create one specific gear piece. You get around 28 Magic Crystals for killing a Legendary Hell Portal Minion, so you would need about ~150 kills for 4000 Magic Crystals.

Now moving on to materials found in the Franchise Shop. Your alliance MUST own a fortress in order to purchase these items.

These items can only be bought WITH GOLD from the Alliance Shop. Each shard costs 50 gold each, and will require 10 of each shard to make a core material.

Since these equipments are end game equipment, it is noticeably expensive in order to forge them. I suggest you start saving up materials and MCs, as well as gold for at least a few weeks before attempting to forge an equipment.

III. Forging Equipment.

Okay in this section, I will be telling you the EXACT amount of materials as well as the approximate amount of silver/gold you need to forge a piece of equipment. I will be outlining all of the equipment (from weapons to rings) and their respective cost. Let me first say that IF YOU CAN BUY SOMETHING WITH SILVER, BUY IT WITH SILVER. Silver is more easily obtainable than the other materials. Let's say you had a choice to use 50mil silver or 5000 Magic Crystals. GO FOR THE SILVER OPTION! You can get 50mil silver in about 5 days, while getting 5000 Magic Crystals would take you weeks. Also, note that these are rough estimates as you can get materials from Alliance War and Team Dungeons that I did not factor into the cost.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You need 10 of a specific "shard" to make a core material. One core material is required to forge each piece of equipment. Once you have all the materials, UNEQUIP the item you want to forge (ex. I want to forge a weapon so I would unequip my weapon) and go to the forge tab.

Let's start with Weapons. (Note: "Core Materials" are equivalent to other classes' core materials as well. If you can find a Holy light branch in Team Dungeon, you'll be able to find an Endless Blade in Team Dungeons as well.)

(Core Material) (Obtained from Team Dungeon as a shard, need 10 of them to make the entire thing)

Holy Medal x 24 = 12,000 Magic Crystals or 36million silver. (Can be obtained from Team Dungeon as a lucky drop)

Weapon Schemas x 98 = 29.4million silver or 6840 Magic Crystals. (Can be obtained from Team Dungeon AND Alliance War as drops)

Holy Iron x 436 = 43.6million Silver or 13,080 Magic Crystals. (You get about 8 Holy Irons from participating in Alliance War, and they drop from Team Dungeon as well)

To create the Weapon, you need about 31,920 Magic Crystals or 110million silver.

Helm:

(Core Material)= 4000 Magic Crystals (Can only be obtained from Hell Portal)

Holy Medal x 18 = 1200 Magic Crystals or 27million silver

Legendary Helm Schema x 73 = 5110 Magic Crystals or 21.9million Silver

Holy Iron x 264 = 7920 Magic Crystals or 26.4million silver.

To make the Helm, you would need about 18230 Magic Crystals or 4000 Magic Crystals and 75.3million silver.

Chest:

(Core Material) (Can only be obtained from Team Dungeon)

Holy Medal x 21= 31.5million Silver or 10500 Magic Crystals

Legendary Armor Schema x 87 = 26.1million silver or 6090 Magic Crystals

Holy Iron x 397 = 39.7million Silver or 11910 Magic Crystals

To make the chest, you would need 97.3million Silver or 28,500 Magic Crystals.

Legs:

(Core Material)= 500 gold in Franchise Shop

Holy Medal x 18 = 9000 Magic Crystals or 27million Silver

Legendary Leggards Schemas x 73 = 5110 Magic Crystals or 21.9million Silver

Holy Iron x 264 = 7920 Magic Crystals or 26.4million silver.

To make the Legs, you need 500 gold, approximately 22030 Magic Crystals or 500 gold and 75.3million Silver.

Boots:

(Core Material) x 1 = 4000 Magic Crystals

Holy Medal x 18 = 9000 Magic Crystals or 27million Silver

Legendary Boots Schema x 73 = 5110 Magic Crystals or 21.9million Silver

Holy Iron x 264 = 7920 Magic Crystals or 26.4million Silver

To craft the boots, you need approximately 26030 Magic Crystals or 4000 Magic Crystals and 75.3million Silver.

Ring:

Core Material x 1 (Only obtainable through Team Dungeon)

Holy Medal x 15 = 22.5million silver or 7500 Magic Crystals

Legendary Ring Schema x 59 = 17.7million silver or 4130 Magic Crystals

Holy Iron x 212 = 21.2million silver or 6360 Magic Crystals

To make the ring, you would need approximately 61.4million Silver or 17990 Magic Crystals.

Necklace:

Core Material x 1 = 500 gold in Franchise Shop

Holy Medal x 18 = 27million silver or 9000 Magic Crystals

Legendary Necklace Schema x 73 = 21.9million Silver or 5110 Magic Crystals

Holy Iron = 26.4million silver or 7920 Magic Crystals

To forge the necklace, you would need 500 gold and 22030 Magic Crystals, or 500 gold and 75.3million silver

Talisman:

Core Material x 1 = 500 gold from Franchise Shop

Holy Medal x 15 = 22.5million silver or 7500 Magic Crystals

Legendary Talisman Schema x 59 = 21.9million Silver or 5110 Magic Crystals

Holy Iron x 212 = 21.2million silver or 6360 Magic Crystals

To make the talisman, you need 500 gold, approximately 22030 Magic Crystals or 500 gold and 75.3million Silver.

(IMPORTANT NOTE:) The only thing that really changes when forging equipment would be the core materials. You need different core materials for each piece of equipment you want to forge, and they are extremely hard to get. I'll make a list of where to get each core material here.

Weapon - Team Dungeon

Helm - MC Shop

Chest - Team Dungeon

Pants- Franchise Shop

Boots - MC Shop

Ring - Team Dungeon

Necklace - Franchise Shop

Talisman - Franchise Shop

IV. Different sets for different classes

If you didn't know, each set gives different stats bonuses based on which class you are. For example, a Spiritus' set focuses on END and AGI. Let me just put the benefits of each class below.

Knights: Titan Gear

Fighters: Offering Gear

Magis: Abyssal Gear

Spiritus: Sacred Heart Gear

This gives you a brief idea about which pieces you want to aim for to get the maximum benefits for your class. For example, I am a "nuker" Spiritus that depends on CRIT and MATK to destroy my enemies first. I would probably save all my materials and make a 5 piece set all at once, rather than making them one by one. That reminds me, try to forge equipment in order to get the set bonuses (ex. making 3 pairs of equipment all at once, rather than one by one.)

Conclusion: I would like to end my guide here, reminding you that if you can use SILVER to get materials, use SILVER! Silver is a lot more easy to obtain than Magic Crystals or Gold. Also, don't expect to finish getting a piece of equipment in a week. These equipment are end game and take a LONG time to forge (Almost two weeks of saving materials and silver) in order to make one. In order to craft these equipment, you need patience. All good things come to those who wait.

Thank you for reading my guide, I look forward to any criticism or opinions : )
